BMW reveales facelifted 3 series and will be launched in India later this year

BMW has revealed facelifted 3 series will be coming 2nd half of this year and later this year will be launched in India. There are mechanical changes as well as cosmetic changes. Updated 3 Series sedan, it’s honed & efficient than before.
BMW made the sharper looking 3 Series even sharper with this uplift. It gets revised front and rear bumpers while doors, bonnet and boot are kept same. BMW says that with the changes to the refreshed front and rear profile the new 3 series look wider. Moreover, front headlights get subtle changes and full-LED headlights are now optional.Overall taillamp design is almost identical, but it get revised graphics and LED tail lights are now standard. 
 
Interior side gets the updated central console with sliding cover for the cup holders. BMW promises new materials for the cabin and additional chrome highlights for the controls, air vents and central control panel. There’s also a new full-colour BMW Head-Up Display and updated infotainment system with faster 4G LTE connectivity.
Under the hood except for the 6-cylinder turbo diesel all the three, four and six-cylinder petrol engines for the BMW 3 Series model range along with the four-cylinder diesel units are new and sourced from the newly developed. Major in nginr option offered by BMW is first 3-cylinder petrol in the base 318i which is taken from Mini Cooper and new 6-cylinder 3.0-liter all-aluminum petrol motor powering the 340i. But BMW India is most likely to stick with the current available options of the sedan - a 2.0-liter diesel and petrol.

New XC90 launched by Volvo at 64.9 lakhs

Volvo launched XC 90 at 64.9 lakhs (ex-showroom). The car is only available only in diesel. Volvo launched XC90 in two trims Momentum trim is priced at Rs. 64.9 lac while the top-end Inscription attracts Rs. 77.9 lac. Volvo dealer's are taking bookings of the car and it is expected that car will be delivered in the month of September.
The new XC90 also introduced Volvo’s new Sensus infotainment system, it offers 12.3-inch central customizable touch screen for it System is powered by 19-speaker 1400W Bowers & Wilkins audio system (standard on both the trims). It also offers a lot of other standard goodies like four zone climate control with individual louvers for all the seven seats. It also offers a lot of standard safety features like any other Volvo in the country and will be a CBU import. 

Under the hood the car have 2.0-liter four-cylinder twin-turbocharged gives power of 225 hp at 4,250 rpm and 470 Nm of max torque in between 1750-2500 rpm. The car comes with 8-speed automatic transmission, power is sent to all four wheels via an AWD system. Compared to the first-gen SUV, the new XC90 is based on Swedish manufacturer’s new SPA (Scalable Platform Architecture), which will also underpin future Volvos.

Audi launches RS7 for 1.40cr in India

Audi launches its performance saloon RS7 at 1.40cr in India. The 2015 Audi RS7 features redesigned bumper, new honeycombed single-frame grille with Quattro badging and updated LED headlamps with an option of Matrix LED, which is also used in luxury A8 saloon.
RS7 is build on Audi’s lightweight design concept-hybrid aluminum body. The chassis gets specifically tuned RS adaptive air suspension and 20 inch alloy wheels. Exterior have new Matrix LED Headlamps, LED rear lights and Dynamic Turn Indicators.  While interior have the black interior with carbon inlays adds elegant touch which is further accentuated by illuminated door sill trim strips, and RS sport seats. Along with this it gets BOSE Surround Sound System, MMI navigation plus with MMI touch.
Under the hood it is powered with the same turbocharged 4.0-litre TFSI V8 petrol engine which gives power of 552bhp. It has eight-speedeed tip-tronic automatic transmission in a Quattro all-wheel-drive setup. This car is able to touch 100kmph in mere 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 255kmph which can be further increased to 280kmph to 305kmph by opting for ‘Dynamic package’.

ZXI variant of Maruti Suzuki gets AMT transmission

On the first anniversary of celerio ZXI variant gets AMT transmission with it that means you can opt for AMT with ZXI variant. With AMT transmission company giving driver side airbag also but there is no ABS with it.
Features tht Celerio ZXi AGS offers are drive side airbag; double-din audio system with radio, CD, USB, Bluetooth and AUX-in support along with audio controls on the steering wheel; steering wheel is tilt-adjustable; there’s a rear wiper with washer and demister; outside rear view mirrors is electronically adjustable; and keyless entry. Apart from these, features from LXi and VXi are carried forward in the ZXi AGS.
Under the hood it is powered by same 1.0-liter K10B petrol Engine. The engine gives power of 68 PS and 90 Nm of max torque, mated to an AMT automatic transmission delivering 23.1 kmpl certified fuel efficiency.

Volvo launching 2015 XC90 on 12th May in India

Volvo India bringing second generation XC90 on 12th May. Major competitors in India are Audi Q7, BMW Q5, and Mercedes-Benz GL-Class. 2015 Volvo XC90 offers two petrol and one diesel engine globally, all 2.0-liter; along with a range topping plug-in hybrid version - XC90 T8. Mechanical specification are the 1969 cc four-cylinder turbodiesel gives power of 222 bhp at 4250 rpm, 470 Nm of max twist starting from 1750 rpm and maxes out at 2500 rpm. The motor will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Talking about the features,the SUV is based on Volvo’s new SPA (Scalable Platform Architecture) and is considerably lighter. On the inside - there’s a huge Tesla Model S like touch infotainment system which supports both Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto.

Range Rover LWB Autobiography now in India

Range Rover launches LWB Autobiography in India for 3.75 CR diesel and 3.85 CR petrol (ex-showroom Delhi). This is the most expensive SUV in Range Rover lineup and in the country also. This Range Rover has 160mm longwheel  base thts why this known as LWB(Long Wheelbase). This was first shown in 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Autobiography edition is bestowed with top-class luxury features than the standard Range Rover. There is not much to the mechanicals of the car, except the increased wheelbase and the cockpit is where the real difference is made. There is vital use of leather on the inside coupled with the wood incorporation.
Rear passenger comfort is taken good care of with reclining seats, center console with various controls, flexible tables, chiller, 10.2 inch infotainment screens mounted on front headrests facing towards rear. Then their are other features like massage feature, lumbar massage on the rear seats, 12-way adjustable driver seat.
Exterior changes are like distinct front grill, 21 or 22 inch gloss aluminium alloy wheel options. While the rear gets chrome garnish with uniquely put tail-lamp cluster. Under the hood diesel engine have 4.4 litre SDV8 whivh gives power of 335bhp while the petrol have 5.0 litre supercharged V8 that give power of 503 Bhp. Facelift of Toyota Camry and hybrid version launched

Toyota launches facelift of Camry and hybrid version of it. Camry is for 28.80 lakhs and hybrid version of it for 31.92 lakhs. Toyota showcase Camry facelift on last year’s Moscow International Motor Show. There are only cosmetic changes no mechanical changes are done.
Exterior changes are it gets a redesigned grille with a strip of chrome on top of it, LED-infused headlamps, large air intakes, chrome-surrounded rectangular shaped fog-lamps, new tail lamps and 10-spoke alloy wheels. While a new multi-function 3-spoke steering wheel, bigger 4.2-inch infotainment system, backlit instrument cluster, wireless mobile charger, heated rear seats and wood-finished centre cluster are some of the major updates on the inside.
Under the hood Camry is powered by same 2.5-litre petrol engine, which gives power of 160 PS and 213 Nm of peak torque. While with an electric motor for the hybrid version, the max output of 205 PS and peak torque stands at 233 Nm.
