Volkswagen launches facelift of Vento

Volkswagen launches vento facelift at 7.70 lakhs. Vento gets many cosmetic changes like  new chrome grille, 3D look alike rear taillamp cluster and new ‘Walnut desert beige’ interior theme. Volkswagen has started booking of new vento with advance payment of Rs 25000.
On the exterior vento gets new and updated bumper, new three-slat chrome grille and dual-barrel headlamps. With the addition of three-slat chrome grille, the sedan gets a premium look.
From the side car remains the same but car have new set of alloy wheels from the polo. The door handles receive chrome attachments along with the introduction of side blinkers on ORVMs. At the rear, Vento gets new 3D effect taillamps and chrome strip near the tail lamp cluster.
At the rear, there are subtle changes in the form of new LED look-alike treatment which the company proudly calls as '3D effect taillamps'. Chrome strips are also provided on the taillamp cluster and at the bottom of refreshed bumper.
Interior is more or less is same like before but it gets a lighter  shade of beige which in company's word is ‘Walnut desert beige’. The saloon still lacks the touchscreen infotainment system and carries the same Bluetooth enabled unit from the last update. 2015 Vento also offers Cruise Control, Cooled Glovebox, Electrically foldable outside mirrors and Dead Pedal for the automatic version. 
Under the hood engine remains the same but it has more fuel efficiency than before which is increased by 7 percent in petrol models and 2 percent in diesel manual. The diesel variant gets 1.5-liter TDI engine which gives power of 103.5bhp @ 4400 rpm and 250Nm of torque @ 1500-2500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-Speed manual and 7-speed DSG automatic. While, the petrol variant will continue with the 1.2-litre TSI and 1.6-litre MPI engine. The 1.6-litre MPI gives an output of 103.5bhp with 153Nm of torque while the 1.2-litre turbo gives the same output of 103.5bhp but with an increased torque of 175Nm. The turbo petrol engine is coupled with the 7-speed DSG automatic while the 1.6 MPI petrol gets 5-speed MT.

Audi launches Q3 facelift

Audi India launches facelift version of Q3 at 28.99 lakhs. Q3 is the highest selling model in the country which compete against Mercedes-Benz GLA & BMW X1.
There are not major changes done in Q3 by Audi in this facelift. In terms of exterior updates, hexagonal front grille has now become wider and the upper sides of which now merge with a new set of turn signal-integrated LED headlamps. The overhead wing that connects the grille and the headlight is aluminum-finished instead of generally-used chrome. While, the rear and side of the SUV remains almost identical, except some minor tweaks including new bumper, tail-light unit and new alloy wheels. 
On the interior side it gets , dual-tone black and beige upholstery and an-all black upholstery are the two options on offer. The wood inserts on the earlier model have now been replaced with the aluminum-finished panels, giving a very upmarket feel.
Under the hood it is powered with same 2.0-litre TDi engine and performance and efficiency of this tried & tested remains the same and gives 174 bhp power with 380 Nm of peak torque from as low as 1,750rpm. The seven-speed dual clutch gearbox gearbox has also been retained, but the only difference that is on offer here, are the paddle shifters that let you go through the gears much quicker than before.

Renault introduce lodgy Stepway version

Renault introduce stepway version of lodgy for top end variant RxZ. This will be available in both 7 and 8 seat option. This edition is only available with the 110 PS version of the 1.5-liter K9K dCi diesel. Moreover, this Stepway would be slightly costlier than the Lodgy RxZ 110PS 7 and 8 seater.
Stepway gets all around body cladding and offers dual tone bumpers
The front and rear bumper gets faux silver finish skid plates
The grille is new and looks sportier, Renault calls it ‘Jewel Studded’ grille
It also gets satin-chrome finish roof rails and chrome highlights on the door cladding
The alloy wheels are similar to that of the stock Lodgy but get gun metal color
There're a Stepway badging on the front doors and chrome door scuff plates
Mechanical changes are not done so it comes with same  110PS version of the 1.5-liter dCi the 4-cylinder with tjrbocharger with an intercooler produces segment best - 108 bhp @ 4,000 rpm and 245 Nm @ 1,750 rpm. The motor is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission powering the front wheels. ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 19.98 kmpl.

BMW India launches 3GT sportsline at 39.90 lakhs

BMW launches 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport Line. The 3GT Sport Line will be available with a 2 litre diesel engine producing 184BHP and 380Nm. It comes with 8 speed automatic transmission.
The new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport Line, featuring a series of striking exterior and interior design elements, promises unbridled dynamics and sets clear visual accents. This is the cheapest 3GT on sale. BMW offering this in different metallic paint shades: Black Sapphire, Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect and Midnight Blue. A non-metallic Alpine White shade is on offer too.

Audi launches RS 6 avant

Audi launches RS 6 avant in the presence of brand ambassador Virat Kohli at 1.35 CR (ex-showroom Delhi). This will be bought through CBUs
The car features a sculpted fascia with sleek Matrix headlights and daytime-running lamps. The cabin has all-black interiors with 3-spoke flat bottomed steering wheel, illuminated door sills and RS embossing to compliment the kind of performance it boasts.
Under the hood the car is powered by the same 4.0-liter V8 TFSI bi-turbo engine used on the RS7 Sportback, which made its debut quite recently. Maximum power output is 560 bhp and 700 Nm of peak torque between 1750 to 5500 rpm. The power is put to the road via an 8-speed multitronic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. The advantage of the estate body style is that there is loads of space and practicality to complement the power and performance. While the estates have been non-existent in India till date, the RS6 Avant can be the fate changer for the segment.
