Jaguar new XF spied testing in India

All new jaguar XF spied testing in Bangalore. XF was shown at 2015 New York Auto Show. The new XF will compete majorly with BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class, Audi A6 and is expected to launch next year in India.
The new XF is made up of 75% aluminium featuring Jaguar all-new iQ[AI] aluminium platform - that XE already uses. New XF is 190 kilos lighter, 7mm shorter and 3mm lower than the current car, it has 51mm longer wheelbase at 2,960mm delivering more rear legroom, knee room and headroom.
Now offering LED lighting at the front, F-Type inspired tail lamps and sportier alterations to the existing XF styling. Interior side car offers Jaguar new InControl Touch Pro infotainment system featuring 10.2-inch touch display along with 12.3-inch digital instrumentation cluster.
Under the hood XF is expected to get the company’s new 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol and diesel engines along with the regular 3.0-litre V6 diesel and 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine.

Facelift of Mahindra XUV 500 spied testing undisguised

Mahindra will update soon there XUV500 and reportedly launching next month. The updates are having cosmetic changes in the car.
The front gets new family grille that debuted with the second-gen Scorpio - honeycomb mesh with black slats and chrome highlights. The headlight gets ‘S’ shaped LED inserts, expect it to be similar to that of the Scorpio’s ‘LED eyebrow’.
The front bumper receives massive changes, now it has wider air dam, while fog lamp housing is placed closer to the headlamps and gets a chrome surround too. The side profile is kept as it is, save for the new set of 10-spoke alloys.
Changes on the interior sides are larger touch screen, updated infotainment system (just like the new Scorpio) and the cabin reduces its top glossy parts. Under the hood XUV5OO will continue to be powered by the same 2.2-liter mHawk140, direct-injection Variable Geometry Turbocharged (VGT) diesel engine. The 2179cc give powerpower of 140bhp @ 3750 rpm and max torque of 330 Nm in-between 1600-2800 rpm.

Hyundai launches 2015 Elantra

Hyundai launches facelift of Elantra starting from 14.13 lakhs to 17.94 lakhs (ex-showroom). There are no changes done on engine only cosmetic changes are done.

Exterior gets projector headlamps with LED Guide Light, new 10 spoke 16 inch alloy wheels, LED effect rear combination lamps chrome tipped exhaust, bold chrome grille, redesigned front bumper, gets new10 spoke, 16-inch alloy wheels.
Interior gets sporty black interiors with leather seat upholstery, metallic scuff plates and sporty Aluminium pedals. The infotainment system with 4.3 inch color TFT LCD display and steering mounted controls add comfort in driving. The infotainment system also offers Bluetooth connectivity and rear camera display.

The safety feature of car is having 6 Air bags, ABS with EBD, Hill Assist Control, Vehicle Stability management, Electronic Stability Control, Rear view Camera with Rear Parking. Under the hood there are no changes petrol comes with1.8-litre Dual VTVT engine gives power output of 147.5bhp @ 6500rpm and torque of 177Nm @ 4700 rpm while diesel comes with 1.6-litre VGT CRDi engine which gives power output of 126.3bhp @ 4000 rpm and torque of 270Nm @ 1900rpm.

Facelift of Toyota Camry coming on 30th April

 Toyota announce facelift of Camry coming on 30th April. Toyota Camry was showcased at last year’s Moscow International Auto Show
The changes are at the front there is all new grille on which a thick chrome slat has been bestowed. Headlamp cluster has been tweaked which now also incorporates LED daytime running lights. The chin at the front seems to be bulging out alongside restyled bumper that reminds us of new-gen Corolla Altis. The car is expected to get some redesigned alloy wheels as well. Rear end too gets updated with the tail light cluster getting LED inclusion. The chrome strip here plays a different role striking through both the taillights giving a unique look from behind.
Changes on the interior sides are istrumentent cluster incorporates 4.1inch screen with blue backlight while there will be a larger 6.1inch infotainment unit to play around. The update will also replace the current four-spoke steering wheel with a brand new three-spoke steering, besides some other minor changes.
Under the hood, there is hardly any possibility that Toyota will install a new engine. The car will have same 2.5 liter petrol mill that generates 179bhp and max torque rated at 233Nm. The hybrid version too will continue with the same mechanics. As per the pricing, expect some extra dough around Rs. 1.5-2 lac from the current model. Camry currently competes with Skoda Superb in the class which will also come in a new avatar next year.

New variant VX(O) introduced by Honda in City

To expand variant line up Honda introduced VX(O) which is VX grade in manual transmission in both petrol & diesel trim. This new variant have features an advanced integrated touchscreen audio visual navigation (AVN). Company also new premium colour White Orchid Pearlin.
The newly introduced touchscreen audio visual navigation system gets a large 15.7cm touchscreen with satellite-based voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation, complete in-car entertainment with DVD/CD Playback, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, i-POD, MP3, FM/ AM connectivity. The touchscreen also gets rear camera display with guidelines.
Price of this new variant in petrol is VX(O) MT i-VTEC (Petrol) – Rs 10,64,000 and in diesel is VX(O) MT i-DTEC (Diesel) – Rs 11, 83,500 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Government will offer upto 1.38 lakhs incentive on electric cars and two-wheelers

Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Shri Anant Geete launched a scheme for Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid & Electric Vehicles (FAME) at an event which was organized by The Department of Heavy Industry (DHI) of the Government of India, in association with the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). Under this scheme, the government has announced to offer incentives upto Rs 29,000 for two-wheelers and Rs. 1.38 lac for cars. The government will spend Rs. 795 crore in the first two fiscal years under this scheme.
At first the scheme will be launched in metropolitan cities and later will be implemented in tier 1 and tier 2 cities. The battery-run motorcycles and scooter will get incentives in range of Rs 1,800 to Rs 29,000 while in case of electric or hybrid car, the inducement will be in the range of Rs 13,000 to Rs 1.38 lac.

Renault Lodgy launched priced from 8.19 lakhs

Renault launches its MPV Lodgy in the market starting from 8.19 lakhs (ex-showroom). The boxy design of the Lodgy makes it seem massive in size. At 4498 mm, its slightly shorter than the Innova and is much bigger than the Mobilio or the Ertiga.
A set of nice large swept back headlights and the twin slatted chrome grille, enables this new MPV to stand out against the other segment opponents. Additionally, a nice chin spoiler up front with the entire lower section finished in black, gives the front a sporty character. Moving to the rear, here those radical tail lights which are designed to reflect an arrow in motion comes as the major highlight, quite offbeat though.
Lodgy feels every bit as spacious as it looks on the inside With a wheelbase of 2810 mm which is even longer than even the Innova, the Lodgy boasts the best-in-class space. The two tone dashboard is a quite simple and clean. And some parts like the air-conditioning controls and vents, gear lever, dials, stalks, steering wheel, window switches, and most of the buttons are taken straight of the Duster AWD.
Under the hood Lodgy have 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine, available in the 84bhp and the 108.5bhp versions. However, there isn't a petrol engine in the offering.
Lodgy competes against the more affordable Maruti Ertiga and Honda Mobilio as well as the expensive Toyota Innova.
