The changes are at the front there is all new grille on which a thick chrome slat has been bestowed. Headlamp cluster has been tweaked which now also incorporates LED daytime running lights. The chin at the front seems to be bulging out alongside restyled bumper that reminds us of new-gen Corolla Altis. The car is expected to get some redesigned alloy wheels as well. Rear end too gets updated with the tail light cluster getting LED inclusion. The chrome strip here plays a different role striking through both the taillights giving a unique look from behind.
Changes on the interior sides are istrumentent cluster incorporates 4.1inch screen with blue backlight while there will be a larger 6.1inch infotainment unit to play around. The update will also replace the current four-spoke steering wheel with a brand new three-spoke steering, besides some other minor changes.
Under the hood, there is hardly any possibility that Toyota will install a new engine. The car will have same 2.5 liter petrol mill that generates 179bhp and max torque rated at 233Nm. The hybrid version too will continue with the same mechanics. As per the pricing, expect some extra dough around Rs. 1.5-2 lac from the current model. Camry currently competes with Skoda Superb in the class which will also come in a new avatar next year.
