Mercedes launches C63 S AMG

Mercedes-Benz has launched the C63 S AMG for a price of Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The compact super saloon is the AMG version of the C-Class sedan.
Though based on the C-Class, the C63 S AMG is the performance-oriented variant and boasts of an AMG-spec body kit. The exterior includes sporty bumpers, side skirts and a quad exhaust setup. The car have 19-inch wheels, which have a double slat five-spoke pattern with the AMG badging in the centre. The large brakes and contrast-coloured callipers further enhance the external design.
The basic layout and design of the car's cabin are similar to the C-Class sedan, however, Mercedes-Benz has enhanced the interior of the C63 S AMG car similar to the AMG cars. The car gets all the standard equipment from the C-Class; apart from this it gets AMG-specific seats and instruments. There is  additional chrome garnish, contrast-coloured leather sports seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and typical AMG badging.
The C63 AMG have 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 which gives 510bhp of power, about 80bhp more than its direct competitor - the BMW M3. This engine comes mated to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT transmission and is the same engine that powers the AMG GT S as well. The vehicle gets dynamic engine mounts and an AMG RIDE CONTROL sport suspension as standard. The car goes from 0-100kmph in four seconds and has an electronically limited speed of 250kmph.
